Must see...
Best visited when the sea is rough, Los Hevideros, (meaning the boiling) is the best place to watch the waves crash into this series of lava tubes.

One of the secret treasures of Lanzarote, these natural pools form a haven of relaxation. the most spectacular pools are in the shadow of an abandoned hotel.

One of the natural wonders of the island, this green lake is located at El Golfo. Once you've visited the lake we recommend lunch in one of the fabulous seafood restaurants at the waters edge.

The sleepy little seaside village of Playa Quemada is worth a stop off, especially for those who enjoy walking. From here it's just a short walk along the coast to the secret garden a beautiful seaside oasis!

The neighbouring village of Uga has a farmers market every Saturday and Sunday from 09.30 to 13:30.
In the marina in Playa Blanca you can find the islands second largest market every Wednesday and Saturday from 09:00 to 14:00

Centro de Artesania La Antigua Escuela de Yaiza houses quaint gift shops boasting handmade goods and a fabulous little cafe bar. The locally made ceramics are highly recommended.

Where to eat...
One of the many shore side restaurants offering excellent fresh fish and seafood. Popular with locals at the weekend so book or get there early for lunch or to enjoy the sunsets.

A reformed old manor that gives you a different feel of La Geria to that from the larger Bodegas. It's perfect fora relaxed tapas lunch on the terrace or to enjoy one of its evenings of live music.

This fabulous Bodega is just on the outskirts of the village. It's glorious shady terrace is a perfect spot for a relaxed tapas lunch or to watch the sun set as you enjoy a delicious dinner.
